Free Breast Pumps?

Posted in Family, Misc, Money by

My breastfeeding days are over with, at least for now. However, I want to let you know about this awesome insurance benefit I learned about when I was pregnant with A.

Some insurances cover your breast pumps and send you one FREE!

I wish I had know that with my first pregnancy. But thanks to the Affordable Health Care Act, you may also qualify for a free pump. It’s not just cheapo pumps either, mine was a Medela Pump In Style Advanced. It came with all the necessarily hook ups and 3 ice packs to use in the cooler part of the tote. So I wanted to write this to spread the word, because honestly I have not seen hardly anyone mention this. It really is a wonderful thing, breast pumps are expensive, and a necessity if you are considering breastfeeding.

See if you qualify here.

I nursed a total of 6 1/2 years my 4 children. 1 1/2 years first three of my children and 2 year my last one. I needed a new pump with each child. This is such useful information. So going to share this so that other moms will know and take advantage of a fee pump. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
