There are a great deal of ways to make eggs, including many different approaches to hard boiling them. I’ve tried a few different ways, and I finally found a way so easy, and I wish I had discovered it earlier!
Many of you may already know this, but I didn’t, so I’m assuming there are other lost souls out there trying to make hard-boiled eggs, and having a difficult time, just like I was once.
The eggs I used weren’t fresh. I bought them from Kroger, (using Kroger Clicklist) 3 days ago.
So first I put a pot on the stove filled with just enough water to cover the eggs and about a tbsp of vinegar and bring to a boil. As soon as it starts bubbling, take your tongs, and place the eggs in there carefully. I used 6 eggs.
Boil then for 14 min. Immediately place them in a big bowl full of ice. Then they are ready to peel! A couple of mine already had a crack and I peeled off a little, then the rest just slipped off. Easy peasy!
This was fun for the kids since they like to help too. Not to mention they ate all of these! I ate only a half of one egg, all that work for nothing!
